Boston, Ma
This is part 2 of my Mothers Day weekend that started in Burlington, Vermont. We flew in and out of Boston. I knew we wanted to spend a few days in Boston because we used to live here before we had our daughter. There are so many baby-friendly and toddler-friendly activities in Boston. It is the perfect place for a weekend getaway!
Newport, RI
We lived in Boston, MA in 2020 when international travel basically came to a halt. As a result, this really put a halt to all of our travel plans. Once things started to open back up, we had to look for places that we could easily drive to from Boston. We landed on Newport, RI. We loved it. In fact, I wish we would had spent more time there.
The Hamptons, NY
For our anniversary/my birthday trip right after JL was born we decided to do a road trip to the Hamptons. JL was only 6 weeks old at the time so we did not want to fly with him yet. The Hamptons was between 5-6 hours from our home in Boston at the time.
Burlington, Vt
Since moving away from Boston, I’ve been pretty emphatic about traveling back at least once a year. This year, we took a long weekend trip for Mothers Day that included stops in Burlington, Vermont and Boston with a baby and a toddler.
